What would you try to do, if you knew you wouldn't fail?

Open a restaurant. I have so many recipes, would love to share them with Portland.
Everything I've ever wanted to try but never did because I was too afraid of failure.
Ah...all the possibilities. The first thing I'd do is to enter the lottery.
i would become an actor, beleive it or not im pretty good and i love doing it i acted all middle school, and highschool and even some in college. theatre and playwright was actually my minor. i love movies and sitcoms and i just think that if i would have chose my life a little better i would be in california now doing a movie. dont get me wrong my life is wonderful , i have a husband and a 10 month old daughter and another one on the way but im still young. and i just think aobut what my life couldnt have been, but i also think about the risks but if there was no chance i would fail, id do it in a heartbeat.
@SamanthaHoffman000 omg i just want to say im so sorry, but there are many other options and im sure you would be a great mother and i wish you the best of luck
Become a mother. It's my ultimate dream. And I know I was born to do it.
(I am infertile...)
Chuck all the crap, buy a sailboat, sail until I die. And write that book that's festering inside me.
a typical teenage boy asked this qwestion would say, rockstar... although that would be quite sensational, i dont think that woud be my first choice... perhaps if i had the powers of oden
I'd convince the world to share one religion and one language. Essentially all the conflict in the world stem from differences in religion or differences in language.
On a more mundane note, I'd get everyone to start using encryption for their email and chat! If you don't KNOW you want it broadcast, then it should be encrypted. That goes for basically anything done with a computer.
I would go to medical school and become a pediatrician-slash-medical researcher.
I would make him better.. He deserves to see the world from a new point of view.
i'd open a restaraunt and becoome a famous chef and have a show on the food network :)
I would start a lottery where all the money goes ONLY to the inner city.
I would FAIL, silly! But wait, maybe I wouldn't be able to fail because...oh, never mind!
Do What I'm doing now and loving every minute ...each day is an adventure.
i would open up a restaurant, with a hip hop theme, in which i would make appearances every now and then as a guest bboy. it would be "off the hook." =]
My first instinct was to pick lotto numbers. But that's pretty lame.
My true answer would be:
To pursue a career in cinematography
play acoustic guitar and or electric and i would write music with lyrics that would make people think and dream. make them happy and say and angry. something that would make a big impact for the better on the world and bring awareness to things that need to be noticed.
people that can do that amaze me.
thank you iron & wine and dave matthews. :)
I would give a dance performance. I am forever dancing in my kitchen, and my living room and ive always wanted to be a dancer. I have no background training but in 11th grade I was the chorus in muscial theatre and really loved it. If no one would laugh I would give a big performance and be proud that I accomplished one of my secret dreams :)
Run my own wine/coffee shop...
but really...i'd be a burlesque dancer.
@seanscherck
yeah....i am thinkin that...
when i first read your name....i thought you were sean the muscle sharkk sherk....from ufc...
haha...
so are you?
i would write standup material. really good pee in your pants standup. then i'd just go ahead and get the courage to perform it.
Hmm...it wouldn't really be "try" to do, if you were guaranteed non-failure...But ignoring that, I'd get me a job at Lonely Planet, getting paid to travel the world and then write about how awesome it is. And definitely write a best-selling novel.
I would go to med school, be CSI investigator and write a novel
hehehe...am I asking too much?
I would say, "I love you" without hesitation. I would put my house up for rent. Gather up all my belongings or maybe just a few and move to be closer to the person that I love.
Once there I would start my own business and take up running on a daily basis.
I don't know why I just can't do it now. I hate that that fear of failure can be so paralyzing. So we end up failing at small things instead of big things? But what about the one time you succeed and it's a big thing. It would be so worth it.
Perhaps I need to do a little paradym shift and think - I won't fail. I won't fail.
@pflockbien That's unity with diversity, to reach out and love your neighbor.
Retire in a country where the U.S. dollar is strong and the one dollar amount value to their currency amount is plenty, and the cost of living is plentiful.
I would move away from my family, start fresh in a new state - make new friends, get a new job. Reinvent myself.
move to a foreign country and immerse myself in its culture, become a 'local'

Wow, I guess I would have to say I would run for President of the U.S. =D
