i definitely do not want to be working at my job for the rest of my life. which is why i'm going to school, haha.
Yes I hate my job. But I live in an area that has few full time jobs.. This city is growing but nobody wants to hire fulltime. I take care of my 83 year old dad and have to work. Right now I am driving 32 miles one way for work. This job might not even lead to a fukk time position. I am doing a Wal-Mart remodel. So when we are done some will get hired on but only part time. Is very tough here in Texas. Dancingcats
I must confess, I get very fed up with my job. I work for great people and have great coworkers, but customers can be so rude, hateful and downright mean! It gets overwhelming at times. Hearing people complain and threaten and say untrue horrible things will eventually get to ya. There have been times that I would have loved nothing more than to get up, grab my purse and say "I'm done. Goodbye" and just walk out. But reality is that I have a family to support and responsibilities and I live in a small town where 20 people would love to take my spot! So I take it day by day.
Also my workload is overwhelming. I get exhausted. I'm anal about a lot of things so I do my job and do it thouroughly. I'm OCD at times and work harder than someone else may, but that' sjust me.
I don't know what I would lke to do to be honest. I'd like to help people and make a difference in whatever I do.
I used to, but now its great, especially the money lol.. .. so I guess that says I only hated myself before and now I don't, so the things I do are enjoyable instead of a burden... living in the burdening shadows of frustration is hard to keep up
Yes.
Wait,...No (I just hate some of the people I work with.)
I actually love to work.
I don't hate my job, but I would like a much better one. I want to be able to follow my true calling.
I don't hate it. That said, I don't feel like I've really truly done my job just yet. For that reason it almost feels like I don't have one. Even so, I'm grateful that I am employed. I really want it to stay that way. Other than for the obvious reasons (income, responsibilities), I want to stick around so I can experience what it's "really" supposed to be like so I can make an informed decision to stay in this line of work or try something else. It also provides the flexibility to live in any major city I choose. That's hard to come by! And I am feeling like I want to relocate in the near future. I really do want to keep my job.
Mmmm, I think I hate my boss more than I hate the actual job. BUT, my job can sometimes be soul-crushingly boring and I wish I could quit, but I've now started studying and cannot afford to not have money coming in. So you can probably say I don't like my job but I have no choice but to grin and bear it because I need the money. I hope to be doing something better, more intellectually stimulating and more meaningful soon...
I love my job. I've had some hard times there, but it's great now because my manager and my co-workers are all terrific people and we make a great team.
