ok people what are your thoughts on the 2012 mihan doomsday theory how many times do we have to suffer through people saying the end of the world is coming b4 they relize....its not gonna happen. and ive done all the reasearch on this new one and as cool as it sounds i just dont think its gonna happen and unfortunatly i think were all stuck here for a long long time. what are your thoughts on 2012 are we all gonna die?
@MrSmartypants there are many scientists that believe the Mayans left of their own free will because they saw as we will probably see soon that the direction they were going in was wrong. So perhaps 2012 will be the end of civilization and people will just stop working for a future they see as destructive and begin again.
@Vanjaf My hope is that you are half right. The shift in thinking without the disaster.
BTW if you are smoking....lol good for you!!! I plan on being on the highest mountian I can be for that day and I will look upon the changing world (ending or beginning...perhaps both) With Joy and Excitement,Hope and love.
john cusack said it best on REgis and Kelly we are going to see a major shift in conciousness. The life we know on earth will end and a new life a more open connected life will begin. Its already starting now if you look around you can feel and see it everywhere.
@FailuresArt they are annoyed because it has been completely taken out of contest! and ppl that react so negatively to it, are in my opinion, misinformed! 2012 is not about the end of the world...it is about our planet experiencing SOMETHING of such immense proportions that it is going to change the world, or "end" it AS WE KNOW IT. I am looking forward to it...personally...but my biggest dilemma is whether i run to the mountains or into the prairies or stay here on the coast...lol..i know...it's kinda ridiculous..but only a catastrophe of a sort not seen so far in our world will change us. I dunno do I stay...or do I go. What is meant will be...but of course I'm still kinda worried too. I beleive it will be a good thing..but do I except what is coming or try to save my ass lol:)?
@Bonster ohhh..i'm sorry to say this but to answer to your question "when's the last time you saw a mayan?" i only have one answer and that is - that is extremely ignorant. My neighbour is a Mayan and you talk of these ppl as if they were extinct. I have listened to hours of conversations with experts on this subject on itunes radio and these are educated ppl, mostly scientists that usually only beleive in concrete data. If you google the "dark rift" or the "milky way allignment"..you will see that there is a lot of data, that ppl make interpretations out of and so far, all i have heard, has been very sound. I agree that there are ppl out there who are trying to scare everyone and make money out of this...but pls ppl look at our world today...anyone who has done ANY research on 2012 can see that it is happening RIGHT NOW.
@MrSmartypants LOL If they had that kind of "insight" to predict the end of our world then they should have seen their own destruction coming. But then.......maybe they did......................when's the last time you saw a mayan? I bet he had his bags packed and was ready to hope on the big old space ship we've been seeing in all those drawings. Hummmmmmmmmmm..............
@Vanjaf If the world is everything we think (as so many people, scientists and avitars say) I want to be full of hope about 2012. Even if it is something that will change the face of earth forever I hope it will cause us to see that we have limited time here on earth and that we shouldnt waste time fighting with each other over such petty stuff. The truth is we breathe the same air and need the same water to drink and without eachother and the planet we simply will not be.
December 12, 2012 I plan on having a celebration of life and love! I plan on taking that day and enjoying every second of it! Hopefully more people will do the same....maybe then they will see the underlying truth....that we all just want to be happy.
