The most beautiful thing that I have seen this week happened on my favorite show "Greys Anatomy." Even though I know it is fiction, that didn't make it less beautiful. A mother had got into a horrible accident while pregnant. They had to do a c-section to remove the baby. The baby was so small, so pale like a ghost, and weak. The doctor said that there was nothing left to do for the baby and decided to just let the infant die. For some odd reason he felt that he needed to hold the baby. He pulled off of the long tubes attached to the baby like an octopus's tentacles around a fish. He carefully swooped the baby as if it were underwater and pulled the baby close to his chest. Suddenly the baby's vitals signs started to improve as if love was the antidote. The baby was going to live after all. I know it is television but sometimes people forget that it is a form of art. When I saw that I started to cry as if it were a painting or song that would bring me to tears.
I watched an ant crawl around on a blanket in a park. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W00iEEbNsOI

Hearing my baby sister say the word "baby" through the telephone. That was magical.
my boyfriend and I went to the lake near my house last night. The sky's only blemishes were stars and a full moon so bright I don't think I've ever seen it illuminated that way. The trees were reflected perfectly in the water. It was incredibly beautiful, even if we were freezing :)
its been raining for a month straight. i sat outside with a person i cared about and talked philosophy while the sun set without a cloud in the sky. it was beautiful.
my little boston terrer was dognapped and taken to a small town 20 miles away. she was tied to a post on the highway. someone found her and brought her back to town, called animal control who gave them my number and now i have my precious little girl back. that was beauty
I was watching my friends baby as a favor. I have only done it a few times before. Today was his 1st birthday and she asked me to watch him for a few hours. Everytime I have seen him hes always smiling. always. i dont think he's every cried for more than a minute. He made my week. His little happy smile, so young. He was fallowing me around smiling and watching me.
