[LIFE'S BIG LISTS]
The temperance movement’s coup de grâce was the failure of prohibition, but their mantra (an ancient Greek truism thanks to Xenophon)—”Temperance may be defined as: Moderation in all things healthful; total abstinence from all things harmful,” might be beneficial if applied, well, moderately.
1. Lost. Sorry, I just don’t find it interesting and yes, I know that makes me the world's biggest douche.
2. Holiday hype. The mall is already putting up Christmas decorations—while I’m still rotting my teeth with Halloween candy.
3. Abstaining due to supposed food allergies. Dear friends, hearing about all the nuances of your various gastronomical situations is just a bore.

1. News commentators (by the same token, sports commentators)--I don't care what their opinion is. Just give me the facts, please.
2. Celebrity news as headlines. Really now.
3. Twilight. Please, no more!
*Our obsession with celebrity relations (in magazines and tabloids and t.v and in our dreams)- How about strengthening our own relation stations.
*Car commercials- Need I explain?
*Rudeness- smile at people who pass you. I dare you.
1. Hating - Haters are the tattle-talers of the "adult" world. Does what so and so does effect you? Probably not. Focus on yourself.
2. Swearing - I feel like all the funnest words to say have lost their zing to me. You know the ones that asshole George Carlin talked about.
3. Showering - I shower far too much. Everyone needs to test out their threshold of stinky. That is, the maximum amount of days without showering before horrific stench sets in. Not normal stinky but real, real bad stinky. Save your local water table and save some $$$.
1. U2 ... Bono just makes me sad now..
2. H1N1 - I am vaccinated and a bit of a clean freak, my worries on the issue have passed.
3. Girl Drama - I am a grown up ... you can be too
1- Vampires- I see like four vampire related advertisements daily. It's all because of Twilight which is a shitty series. I mean seriously, would wizards have been all the rage if the guy who played Edward Cullen played Harry Potter? I think so because I don't think it is possible for so many people to really love reading four paragraphs of emotions at every plot twist of a book.
2- The educational system- I learn so much bullshit in school. I just had to memorize 100 ions for no reason. All the chemical formulas were so similar it took me days to learn, and more then 75% of the class failed the test. I got in a debate about having to learn this stuff with my teacher and how pointless it was to learn something nearly impossible to retain. Even a chemist wouldn't need to memorize ions. She just stared at me with her mouth open and was like "it's in the book." This book is complete bullshit by the way. It's just some dribble from a biology major that wanted to get his/her PHD by publishing their own book in a field of science. I'm sick and tired of no one having any say on what is discussed and learned in class, and how little money is put into education. I could probably have a book that didn't make me memorize ions if we didn't have to cut spending and buy crappy old books to keep the school going. I probably wouldn't have a crap teacher if smart people were actually attracted to be teachers by higher payrolls. In my eyes teachers have the most important job on the planet.
3. Overly enthusiastic people- chill out, i cant handle you doing the moon walk and shit.
1. Sexually-charged TV shows aimed at teens. Yes, I know they'll still do it no matter what, but it's not sexy or cool when you're 15...and we shouldn't be telling them that it is.
2. Twitter. Sorry, but it's overrated.
3. Sweetest Day. I may be harboring bitterness stemming from singleness, but seriously?
1. Doubt and worry... I really need to put that sh*t on permanent hold...
And damn the luck, I used to be so carefree, so aimlessly carefree, but no, the world could not have any of that....
2. My food additive toleration... I still have yet to decide if it is worth is, am I making a big fuss over nothing?? But what belief will I need to put in its place?
3. My co-depandancy tendencies...
1. Religious organizations that impose their morality and viewpoint on the rest of us through political organizing. They need their tax-exeptions revoked!
2. Government screw-ups. Everyone means well, I suppose, but I'm pretty tired of all the poor choices.
3. Done with racism, sexism, etc.
Self Pity/Self Doubt
Lack of Commitment/Intense Availability
... I haven't decided about the third one yet.
1. Nancy Grace.
2. Bikers in busy streets
3. Celebrity news.
