From the creative genius of Bobby Miller
I've been smacked in the face by life plenty of times, and none of those times have made me feel like I needed the help of a skyfairy.

Not believing in Atheists is like not believing in tables.
@BabyDoran There are plenty of atheists whose morals far exceed those who believe in god. Perhaps judging atheists based on their own personal choice not to believe in a god isn't exactly a moral thing to do yourself?
I think this is the only time we realize we need God, and that the only reason were being smacked in the face is because we might have started to think that we didn't need him.
"Atheists are morally inferior to the rest of us, Therefore: God exists"
"I don't believe in Atheists" Both from my friend Thomas Mitchell Doran.
Well i think that not needing or in my case not believing in god/religion is a privilege because i have lived a pretty good life but when people are doing bad they usually need something to hope for and well god is always going to be there for them so yeah i do think that people only seek or need god when they get to a difficult part of their life.
probably not, but it is easier to ignore the spiritual when life on the physical plane is going fine
Yes. We only turn to religion when we need something to comfort us. We would we want something that is comforting when there's no reason to be comforted? The idea of God has been used many times throughout history. No need to get into a history lesson but previous leaders have used the idea of God to do 2 things. 1 rally the troops/people. The second thing God was and still is used for is to turn a group against another group. There is no better way to support your cause then to claim it's a divine cause. So yes we only need a God in bad times... because is soothes us.
~Nothing is true and EVERYTHING is permitted
I think we need God at all times, but most people only turn to him when life smacks us in the face. I know personally that I've done this, but I try my hardest to walk with him, live for him, and need him all the time.
