Here are two (usually) true things:
1. Everyone belongs to some sort of family.
2. Family photos are almost always awkward.
Enter Awkward Family Photos, a genius idea for a blog that has captured a piece of my heart, perhaps because we can ALL connect to the awkward, posed family portrait. Personally, I think it's because there is always something deliciously revealing when you look past the forced poses and mom's ‘themed’ photo ideas. A good family photo can tell you what the family was like at that point in their lives as well as how they hoped to be perceived currently and into the future. So now it’s your turn.
